Class Offerings
Our classes are designed to get you up and working on your projects as quickly and as safely as possible. All attendees should wear loose clothing so long sleeves can be rolled up with closed toe shoes. Long hair must be tied back. Safety glasses will be provided if you require them. Minimum age for each class is 18, but we are always willing to work with you. Contact us if your interested in bringing your children. If you need to cancel a class you have registered for, it must be done at least 7 days prior, so please contact us as soon as possible.
Begining Woodworking
Laser Cut Signs
This is a make and take introductory class designed to teach the fundamentals of using a laser cutting and etching machine. During this 3 hour class, you will design, cut and paint a wall hanging sign from one of our templates. At the end of the class you will have your own sign to take home and be prepared to take an advanced laser class.
Beginning Woodworking
Cutting Board
This is a make and take introductory to woodworking class. We will walk you through the process and tools involved in building multi strip cutting boards made from hardwoods. Our instructor will guide you through the process of cutting, jointing, planning, sanding and finishing. At the end of this class you will have a cutting board to take home and the skills to move on to more advanced projects.
Intermediate woodworking
blanket/Toy chest
This is an intermediate woodworking class where you will cut, glue and assemble your own blanket or toy chest. Made from solid select grade pine, this is a quality piece of furniture that will last a life time and can be stained or painted to suit your preference. Our instructor will guide you through the process of sizing stock, jointing and gluing panels, assembly, and finishing options. This course will run 2 days at 3 hours per day. At the end of this class, you will take home your chest and will have learned the fundamentals of simple furniture making. This class intended for those who already have working knowledge of using table saws, miter saws, planners, sanders and shop safety. We recommend you take a beginners class if you do not already have working knowledge of these machines.-
