This is a make and take introductory to woodworking class. We will walk you through the process and tools involved in building multi strip cutting boards made from hardwoods. Our instructor will guide you through the process of cutting, jointing, planning, sanding and finishing. At the end of this class you will have a cutting board to take home and the skills to move on to more advanced projects.
This is an intermediate woodworking class where you will cut, glue and assemble your own blanket or toy chest. Made from solid select grade pine, this is a quality piece of furniture that will last a life time and can be stained or painted to suit your preference. Our instructor will guide you through the process of sizing stock, jointing and gluing panels, assembly, and finishing options. This course will run 2 days at 3 hours per day. At the end of this class, you will take home your chest and will have learned the fundamentals of simple furniture making. This class intended for those who already have working knowledge of using table saws, miter saws, planners, sanders and shop safety. We recommend you take a beginners class if you do not already have working knowledge of these machines.-
